Your content stays local
Your documents and your private corpus remain on your own computer. They are local-first and do not leave your machine.
A sovereign AI workspace for private and regulated entities
An AI assistant for regulated teams that chats, runs agentic workflows, and drafts from your own corpus, grounded, cited and logged, with your content kept on your own computer or within your own boundary.
Your content stays on your computer. Nothing trains. Audited at every step.
Inside your boundary
Metita is a desktop application. Your documents and your private corpus stay on your own machine, local-first, and are never retained elsewhere. You can do regulated work inside your own boundary, such as the Consumer Data Right, and keep your material where your obligations require it to be. The model endpoints and user management that Metita relies on run as supporting services, hosted in Australia by default, and able to be self-hosted when your boundary calls for it.
Sovereignty
Metita separates what you control from what we run for you, so you can see exactly where your material lives.
Your documents and your private corpus remain on your own computer. They are local-first and do not leave your machine.
The services Metita needs to operate, such as user management and the model endpoints, are hosted in Australia by Oscinis by default.
If you need everything inside your own boundary, you can self-host those supporting services, on premises or in your own cloud.
The result is layered sovereignty. Your content is yours and stays on your computer, the services around it run in Australia by default, and you hold the option to bring the whole of it inside your own walls.
What Metita is now
Metita is a sovereign AI workspace for private and regulated entities. It is a desktop application that brings AI to the documents you already hold, drafts from your templates, and records every step, all without your content leaving your computer.
Chat and run agentic workflows over a local copy of your corpus. Every answer is retrieved from your own material, cited to source and dated.
Draft from your own templates and export to Microsoft Word in the format reviewers expect, with each claim cited to source.
An append-only audit log records every step, so your work stays defensible to a reviewer or a regulator.
A desktop application. Your content stays in your boundary and never trains a model, with services run in Australia or self-hosted.
Four commitments
Your documents and corpus remain local and are never moved off your machine to be processed.
Your material is never used to train any model.
Your content is yours, and you can remove it at any time.
An append-only log records each step, cited to source.

For existing Metita customers
Your workspace continues to run, and this is an evolution of the product you already rely on, not a replacement of it. The new generation runs as a desktop application, with your content kept on your own computer. There is no action required from you today. When the time comes, we will guide you through the move to the new generation, and your data and audit history move with you. We will give you clear notice before anything changes.
Questions
Your content lives on your own computer. Metita is a desktop application, and your documents and any private corpus are local-first, so they stay on your machine and are not moved off it to be processed. The supporting services that Metita relies on, such as user management and the model endpoints, run in Australia by default and do not store your documents, and you can self-host them inside your own boundary if you prefer.
No. Your content is never used to train any model. Your documents and corpus stay on your computer, where Metita reads a local copy of them only to answer your questions and carry out your workflows. We do not store your documents. The only details we hold are the account information needed for licensing and user management.
Yes. Your content stays on your own computer or in your own cloud, so you can keep your material inside a boundary such as the Consumer Data Right. If your obligations require the supporting services to sit inside that boundary as well, you can self-host them on premises or in your own cloud.
By default the supporting services, user management and the model endpoints, are hosted in Australia by Oscinis. If you need everything inside your own boundary, you can self-host those services on premises or in your own cloud, while your content remains on your own computer either way.
Metita keeps an append-only audit log of each step, and every answer is cited to its source. Because your content stays on your own computer and is not stored anywhere else, the surface that has to be trusted is smaller, and your work stays defensible to a reviewer or a regulator.
Yes. Your content is yours. It sits on your own computer, so you remain in control of it and can remove it at any time.
